While in Ireland I could not resist snapping some pics of the homes. I fell for the country homes, cottages and estates. I couldn't photograph them all (thanks to my hubby driving the country roads like his life depended on it...), but here is a very small sample of what we saw:

| Galway County |

| County Mayo |

There were so many amazing places, it seemed like everywhere we turned there was all this eye-candy (of the bricks and mortar variety). How can I capture this vibe and infuse it into my house, proudly located in a prairie Canadian city - and yes, a thatch roof and refacing our house with 100 year-old-stone is out of the question, believe me I asked... any thoughts?
